The festival deadline has now passed for the 11th Northern Wave International Film festival taking place on the weekend of the 26th to the 28th of October. We want to thank everyone who sent in their film.

The festival received over 200 international submissions and over 80 Icelandic submissions.

Our international pre-selection team is now working hard on the selection for the festival and is about to finish the international preselection and will notify the representatives shortly.

Judging from the quality of the films the festival has received this year and the honorary guest, to be announced soon, we are expecting a great festival this year!
